HiFu Body Sculpting & Contouring

HIFU is an innovative and modern technology which provides a non-invasive alternative to liposuction and other types of fat reduction surgeries. The treatment uses High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound to permanently destroy fat cells without harming the surface of the skin while also combining a skin tightening element to the treatment, unlike any other procedure. During treatment, ultrasound energy is projected through at a depth of 13mm to target and destroy fat cells permanently and deliver uniform, predictable results after one single treatment.

HIFU works differently compared to many other non-invasive fat reduction technologies, such as Radio-Frequency and lasers where the energy is highly absorbed or scattered near the skin’s surface, limiting penetration into subcutaneous fat tissue and therefore delivering temporary results. HIFU ultrasound energy, on the other hand, penetrates through the skin layers and into the targeted fat tissue, creating a powerful thermal effect in the body which destroys fat without damaging the surrounding tissue. At the same time, high-intensity ultrasound can also speed up the bodies metabolism as well as shrink skin fibres, meaning the treatment will also work to tighten and lift the skin.

HIFU Ultrasound technology is completely safe and has been used within the medicine and the aesthetics industry for decades. How long does the treatment take and is it painful?

Treatment time will vary depending on the size of the treatment area. For each session, you can expect it to last no more than 30 to 90 minutes. Furthermore, the treatment is not pain free but the level of pain is completely tolerable and feels like tiny electric pulses, or a prickly sensation.
